Clueless

Wonder where I’m going

No path clearly seen

Thick fog along the way

Can’t view the gravelly road ahead

Walking the path less taken

Stumbling along the wilderness

Knowing not where this may lead

The chill wintry wind biting into me

I rub my hands together

My breath spewing clouds of mist

Quickening my pace, unsure

Of what really lies ahead

Somewhere the path may reveal a turn

That will lead me on to freedom

To a land where I belong

With singing heart, I keep walking.
